Sakura Shiranami
An authentic shochu made from fresh Nansatsuma sweet potatoes, fermented with yellow koji. It offers a delicate aroma and a clean, light and fruity flavor. Enjoy hot, on ice or diluted with water, according to your preference.
Here's how to make a delicious Sakura Soda:- Fill a tall glass (such as a tumbler or mug) with plenty of ice cubes.
- Pour up to a quarter of the glass of Sakura Shiranami. Stir well so that the sakura shirobi soaks well in the ice cubes, this will enrich the flavors. If you prefer a more intense tasting, you can fill up to half of the glass, and for a lighter flavor, pour a sixth of the glass. The recommended ratio is 3 parts sparkling water to 1 part Sakura Shiranami.
- Pour the sparkling water carefully, avoiding letting it touch the sides of the glass or the ice cubes.
- Mix lightly with a stick and enjoy!
