Kuroita Konnyaku
Konjac has been widely used in Japanese cuisine for over 2000 years. With no particular taste, it absorbs the flavor of the food it is cooked with.
Konjac is also well known for its very low calorie content which makes it an ideal appetite suppressant.
Preparation- Remove the konjac block from the bag
- Drain
- Rinse with cold water (to remove their odor)
- 1 minute in boiling water
- Rinse with cold water again
- Drain
- Cut into cubes
Konjac, Seaweed, thickener: Hydroxypropyl Starch; Firming agent: Calcium Hydroxide.
