Junmai Taruzake
Kiku-Masamune's cask sake, called "Taruzake," is a dry sake (karakuchi) that is distinguished by its unique aroma of Yoshino cedar. This dry sake, which Kiku-Masamune is proud of, is aged in casks made from Yoshino cedar, which is renowned as the best cedar in Japan. When the sake reaches its optimum flavor profile, it is bottled and released. "Taruzake" has a refreshing cedar scent that cleanses the palate of food residue, providing a fresh mouthfeel. It pairs well with a wide variety of dishes, especially those with strong spices or intense flavors.
