Tokusen Junmai Taruzake
Kiku-Masamune barrel sake, called "Taruzake", is a dry sake (karakuchi) that is distinguished by its unique aroma of Yoshino cedar.
This dry sake, of which Kiku-Masamune is proud, is aged in barrels made from Yoshino cedar, renowned for being the best cedar in Japan. When the sake reaches its optimal flavor profile, it is bottled and marketed. “Taruzake” releases a refreshing cedar scent that purifies the palate of food residues, providing a feeling of freshness in the mouth. It pairs perfectly with a wide variety of dishes, especially those with strong spices or intense flavors.
