Hatcho miso aka dashi sanshu
This is a mixed miso, combining soy miso (mame miso) and rice miso (kome miso). "Red miso" (aka-dashi miso) is milder than "hatcho miso", offering a creamy texture and delicate flavor. It is ideal for making miso soups, but is also suitable for many other dishes.
