Kakujo Junmai Ginjo
This pure rice sake from Saeki in Oita Prefecture has a delicate and refreshing aroma, accompanied by a light sweetness. Its subtle combination of acidity, umami and bitterness ends on a clean note. Called Tsurujoi (Kaku Jou), a name inspired by a local saying meaning "Cranes swallow," this sake is sweet and light, and is particularly appealing to women. A slightly sweet sake from Kyushu, perfect as a souvenir or gift.
