Instructions :- Ingredients needed:
- Tempura flour mix: 100g (about 4/5 cup)
- Water: 160ml
- Ingredients of your choice (shrimp, sweet potato, etc.)
- Preparation :
- Mix the tempura flour and water thoroughly using a whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Heat the oil in a deep saucepan to a temperature of 170-180°C. To check the temperature, dip a drop of dough into the oil: it should sink to the bottom and quickly rise to the surface.
- Frying:
- Coat the ingredients (shrimp, vegetables, etc.) in dry tempura flour before dipping them in the batter.
- Fry the ingredients until the batter turns golden brown and the oil bubbles are small.
- If you have a lot of ingredients, fry them in small batches to maintain the oil temperature.
- Advice :
