Susu take shakushi (Sho)

These are spoons made using a process called "susu take shakushi", which involves heating the bamboo under steam pressure while lightly burning it. This treatment reinforces their resistance to water and dirt, as well as their anti-insect and anti-mold properties. Their soft and pleasant texture to the touch, different from that of plastic materials, adapts comfortably to the hand, providing a feeling of warmth characteristic of natural materials.
These spoons are designed with a thin end, perfectly suited for grabbing rice from the edges of the container.
