This unique soy sauce is made from whole soybeans, unlike traditional soy sauces which use "defatted soybeans" after oil extraction. This process allows fats to break down during fermentation, creating a soy sauce with a characteristic sweetness and rich flavor.
Produced in Fukuoka Prefecture, this soy sauce combines selected soybeans and wheat, aging slowly to develop an intense natural flavor, perfect for cooking, as an accompaniment to sashimi or directly on dishes.
Available in three sweetness variations – mild, slightly mild and full-bodied – this slightly sweet soy sauce is particularly popular for its subtle balance of flavors, suitable for a variety of culinary uses.
