Pre-cooked sticky rice with red beans

This Sekihan is a mixture of sticky rice and red beans, traditionally eaten on special occasions in Japan. The rice is pre-cooked and vacuum-sterilized, allowing you to enjoy an authentic Japanese dish in just minutes. With simple, natural ingredients like sticky rice, red beans, and salt, this product contains no additives or preservatives.

For microwave cooking:
  • Do not open the package. Place it directly in the microwave.
  • Heat for about 2 minutes at 500W or 600W.
  • Please note: cooking times may vary depending on the model of your appliance.
  • After heating, carefully remove the hot packaging and serve the rice in a bowl. Lightly crumble the rice before enjoying.
For cooking in a bain-marie:
  • Do not open the package. Plunge it directly into boiling water.
  • Turn the package 1 to 2 times during approximately 12 minutes of cooking.
  • Do not cover the pan while cooking.
  • After heating, you can cool the package for a few seconds under cold water to make it easier to remove the rice.
Precautions for use:
  • Be careful of burns when handling heated product.
  • Do not use heating methods other than microwave or double boiler.
  • Consume immediately after reheating.
  • If the bag shows any damage, do not use the product as this may result in contamination.
  • This product is not vacuum packed, and a small amount of air may be present inside the packaging.
